Demo Day 22, v0.0.0.4

Slime Research just got some much-needed updates!

  • Default levels are now included in-game on the Play menu, so you don't have to copy-past level codes all over. (But you still can!)
  • Some sounds and music are now in the game, thanks to freesound.org and arcturus.bandcamp.com
  • Warnings now appear for things like trying to exit if you haven't saved a level you're working on. I might be the happiest about this one of all. There are also visible warning messages if loading a level fails, or if you try to save a level without both a spawn and exit, and stuff like that
  • In-game controls menu describes the basics of the game and all available controls.
  • Keyboard, Joystick, and Mouse-only controls have been improved a lot. Mouse-only is a bit cumbersome, but it works. In the future I'd like to add key rebinding to alleviate this issue.
  • Saving the best for last.... You can now call your slime body back to you!!! No more sitting hopelessly at the bottom of some pit while your body is way up in the air. Just hold down the Action key and the brand new AI slime core will try it's darndest to bring your body back. It's direct-path only, but I'd like it to have some sort of limited pathfinding in the future.

That's all for now! Hope you enjoy the update, and as always please feel free to give me your feedback on the game.
